For some months now I have been watching the building career of a beautiful young model from Calgary who's thoughtful and artistic work has impressed me a great deal. Her intelligence shows in all of her images, and she is popular with some of the hottest new photographers in that city, which is always a good sign.

Marla was one of three models with whom I worked on a recent Calgary trip, all shot in a highly stylised luxury hotel suite. I was concerned that I might not have the flexability of space to create the artistic ambiance that, I assumed, Marla preferred. I was very pleased when she indicated that she wanted to shoot in more of a Glamour style, which is, of course, my specialty.

In a few short hours, we experienced beauty, wit, creativity and camaraderie and in the process captured some mighty fine images, a few of which I offer to you here.
