2011 was not my most prolific year in terms of number of shoots, but it was a year that brought in several new faces, and
a couple of spectacular ones. We were blessed in Edmonton with the arrival of Damianne, who you have already seen as October's Wild Rose. You will see much more of this lovely model in the near future.
I also got to work with the amazing Ash Fens back in February, and we are planning another shoot soon. Other faces you will see showing in the years ahead.
The model I worked with most regularly in 2011 was the Delicious Vanessa Vicious, who continues to act the role of muse.
This girl is fearless, and a joy to work with, and it is a promise that you will see a great deal more of her both in photos and video.
2011 was the year I decided to start exploring Photoshop as a creative tool, and began some serious manipulation of backgrounds
and tones. This is still in the early stages, but I am loving the possibilities. The ability to flex the imagination and suspend disbelief is an exciting one for me,
and I plan to use this technology more in the coming year, and get better at the craft.
